Am I Unusually Busy?

Pray for (or come to) this event…

First of all, if my advisor reading this, I just want to say that I’m not doing anything after mid-October. I swear I’m going on a strict diet of research after these things have passed. (He wasn’t too happy when he found out that I had just written a chapter for the book “Halo and Philosophy.”)

I’ve been back from Knoxville for a week now. I couch surfed with a nice retired couple who hosts exchange students. I got to meet Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker, and Bob Jones. Finally, I found someone who’s life is fully admirable, Heidi Baker. I befriended these awesome brothers, Bryan and Jason Terrill. I’ll have to write more about this adventure later, but for now, I just wanted to disclose the my week to come to you all. I realized it being post-worthy as I was catching up with Bryan Terrill, post-trip.

We have a unity event in Santa Cruz right now and all weekend
(I’m playing saxophone and singing in the gospel choir.)

I’m helping to coordinate a symposium at UCSC for Intelligent Narratives on
Thursday: AI for Games and Fiction:
(This is the application of my research.)

I’m going to a Computer AI conference at Stanford on MondayWednesday
(This is my area of research, but I’m not going for Wednesday, b/c….)

I’m going to KC for the prayer and prophetic from the 14-16, ThursdaySaturday:
(It’s my first time to IHOP KC, and I’m going to get to see how Chris Kim is doing… but I’m actually going to miss the last day b/c….)

On the 16th, Saturday, I’m coming back to Stanford to do a Unity event of PhD
(I’m putting it together, and you don’t want to miss this)…

The last one is the most important one right now (could use lots of prayer), but I can’t believe I’m doing all this in a week… haha. It feels more ridiculous after I had written it all down. I might also try to do a submission to a conference too, but as my advisor often says: “Don’t go rogue, Sherol.”

My life is full of Jesus, Jazz, and Video Games… haha.
